However, replacing a modern smartphone screen is delicate work. While our units are thoroughly checked and in good condition before shipping, the installation process is critical. A single misstep can ruin the new part before you even get to use it.
Before you break out the tool kit, please read through these vital pre-installation guidelines. Following these steps will ensure a successful repair and keep your warranty intact.
The Golden Rule: Test BEFORE You Install
This is the most important piece of advice we can give you. Once the screen is fully installed into the phone chassis, we cannot accept responsibility for any issues.
Because screen replacements are extremely fragile, you must perform a "simulated test" first.
How to simulate a test:

Carefully disassemble your phone to access the motherboard.

Do not remove any protective films or tags from the new screen yet.

Connect the new screen’s flex cables to the motherboard audio/display connectors while the screen is just resting outside the phone body.

Power on the device.

Test the display thoroughly. Does it light up? Does the touch functionality work across the entire surface?
If the test is successful (it shows a clear image and responds to touch), you are ready to proceed with the final installation.
If it does not show a display or has issues during this test, contact us immediately. Do not force it into the mobile phone.
Safety First: ESD and Glass
Inside your phone are incredibly sensitive electronic components that can be fried by the static electricity built up in your body.

Ground Yourself: Before touching anything inside the phone or handling the new screen, ensure you are grounded using an ESD (electrostatic discharge) strap. This prevents static shock from damaging the new component or your phone's motherboard.

Eye Protection: If your old screen is badly cracked, removing it can send tiny shards of glass flying. Always wear eye protection and use caution to avoid cutting your fingers on glass splinters.
Handle with Care: The Ribbon Cables
The flex cables (ribbon cables) connecting the LCD to the motherboard are the lifelines of your display. They are also incredibly fragile.

Do Not Over-Bend: Pay close attention to these cables during testing and installation. Bending them more than 90 degrees can damage the internal wiring, resulting in a permanent "black display." Handle them gently and ensure they fold naturally during reassembly.
A Note on Professional Installation
While many enthusiasts enjoy DIY repairs, we highly recommend professional installation for screen replacements. The process requires steady hands, patience, and the right tools.
Important Advanced Note: Please be aware that on some models, the IC touch soldering on the new screen may need to be disassembled and transferred from your original screen to maintain full functionality (such as True Tone or specific touch features). This step requires professional-level maintenance skills.
