6. Professional XLR Signal Management

The AU680(BNC) transmitter provides a Balanced / Unbalanced XLR switch, allowing the system to adapt to different audio signal configurations.

Balanced Mode

Recommended for:

  • Professional mixers
  • Professional audio processors
  • PA systems
  • Stage equipment
  • Long cable runs before wireless transmission

Balanced transmission provides improved resistance to external electromagnetic interference.

Unbalanced Mode

Suitable for:

  • Consumer audio devices
  • Certain media players
  • Some musical instruments
  • Consumer-level audio sources

This flexibility allows AU680(BNC) to integrate into both professional and consumer audio environments.

7. Ground Loop Noise Elimination

The AU680(BNC) receiver provides a Lift / Earth ground switch.

This feature is particularly useful when the transmitter and receiver are connected to different pieces of powered audio equipment.

If unwanted hum or buzzing is caused by a ground loop, the receiver's ground configuration can be adjusted to help eliminate the interference.

Typical application

Mixer → AU680(BNC) TX → Wireless UHF → AU680(BNC) RX → Active Speaker

The Ground Lift function can help reduce unwanted 50/60 Hz ground-loop hum in suitable installations.

8. Power Specifications

Parameter Transmitter Receiver
Operating Voltage DC 5 V DC 5 V
Maximum Working Current 120 mA 40 mA
Typical Power Consumption 0.6 W 0.2 W
Power Supply 5 V DC 5 V DC

The low-power design makes the AU680(BNC) suitable for permanent installations as well as portable applications.

9. Environmental Specifications

Parameter Specification
Operating Temperature -16°C to +65°C
Application Environment Indoor / Outdoor
Installation Desktop / Equipment Rack / Speaker Installation*
Cooling Natural ventilation
Operating Humidity To be confirmed according to final production specification

* Mechanical mounting accessories or mounting methods can be customized according to project requirements.

10. Transmission Distance

Open Area / Line-of-Sight

Current long-range AU680(BNC) specification:

Up to 1000m / 2625 ft

under suitable open-space, line-of-sight conditions.

Reference Wall-Penetration Performance

Environment Reference Distance
Open area Up to 1000m
Through 1 wall ≤100 m
Through 2 walls ≤80 m
Through 3 walls ≤60 m
Through 4 walls ≤40 m

Wall penetration results are for reference only. Reinforced concrete, brick walls, metal structures, RF interference and other obstacles can significantly reduce the effective transmission distance.

11. One-to-Many Wireless Audio Distribution

One of the major advantages of AU680(BNC) is its multi-receiver architecture.

Basic Configuration

1 × AU680(BNC) TX → 1 × AU680(BNC) RX

Suitable for:

  • Mixer → Remote active speaker
  • PC → Amplifier
  • Instrument → Audio system

Multi-Receiver Configuration

1 × AU680(BNC) TX → Multiple AU680(BNC) RX

Up to 200 receivers can be supported according to the current product specification.

Suitable for:

  • Multi-speaker systems
  • Multi-zone audio
  • Large conference rooms
  • Exhibition halls
  • Stage monitoring
  • Commercial audio distribution
  • Outdoor events
  • Tour-guide systems

12. Typical System Applications

Application 1 — Mixer to Active PA Speaker

Audio Mixer → AU680(BNC) TX → UHF Wireless → AU680(BNC) RX → Active PA Speaker

Eliminates long XLR audio cables between the mixing position and remote powered speakers.

Important

AU680(BNC) is a wireless audio signal transmission device, not a power amplifier.

It transmits audio line-level signals wirelessly.

Therefore:

AU680(BNC) RX → Active Speaker

is a direct application.

For a passive speaker system:

AU680(BNC) RX → Power Amplifier → Passive Speakeris required.

14. Competitive TechnicalAdvantages

UHF Instead of Bluetooth

AU680(BNC) is designed for professional wireless audio signal transmission rather than ordinary consumer Bluetooth audio applications.

Key advantages include:

  • Longer transmission distance
  • Very low latency
  • Multi-receiver capability
  • Professional XLR connectivity
  • Balanced signal support
  • Ground-loop noise management
  • Multi-channel system architecture

Professional Audio Connectivity

Instead of requiring separate converters, AU680(BNC) integrates:

XLR + RCA + 6.35 mm + 3.5 mm

into one wireless audio platform.

Ultra-Low Latency

<0.5 ms

is designed for applications where noticeable audio delay cannot be tolerated.
